If you decide Ledgerline isn't right for you, we understand. Closing your account is simple and takes just a few minutes.

Before you close

Make sure you've withdrawn or transferred any remaining balance from your accounts. We'll zero out the balance before closing, but it's easier to move your money first. If you have pending direct deposits or transfers, they'll still process normally.

How to close

Open Ledgerline and go to Settings > Account Management > Close Account. You'll be asked why you're leaving—your feedback helps us improve. Review the information one more time, then confirm. Your account closes immediately.

After closure

Once closed, you won't be able to sign in, make transfers, or use your Ledgerline Card. Any funds still in the account will be sent to the bank account you originally used to fund Ledgerline. This typically takes 1-3 business days.

Your card

Stop using your Ledgerline Card immediately. Destroy it if you want to be extra safe. Any pending transactions will still process normally after closure, even though the card is inactive.

Getting back in

Once closed, you can't reopen the same account. You'd need to sign up again as a new member. Your account data will be archived for compliance reasons but won't be reactivated.
