Ledgerline has transfer limits for your security. Here's what they are and how they work.

Transfers between your own accounts

Moving money between your Ledgerline checking and savings accounts is unlimited. Transfer as much as you want instantly. We trust you with your own money.

Transfers to other banks

ACH transfers to external banks have limits the first time you transfer to a new bank. Your first transfer to a new external account is limited to $5,000. After we've confirmed the account is legitimate, the limit increases to $25,000 per calendar day.

Raising your limits

If you need to transfer more than $25,000 in a single day, contact our support team. After a quick verification, we can increase your limit. Most requests are approved within a few hours.

Wire transfer limits

Domestic wire transfers are limited to $25,000 per transaction by default. International wires max out at $10,000. Like ACH transfers, you can request a limit increase by contacting support.

Why these limits exist

Transfer limits protect your account from fraud and unauthorized access. If your account is compromised, these limits minimize potential damage. They also help us comply with banking regulations designed to prevent money laundering.

Temporary holds

If we detect unusual transfer activity, we might temporarily hold a transfer while we investigate. We'll notify you immediately. This is extremely rare and always errs on the side of protecting your account.
