Every time you sign in to Ledgerline, we require a second form of verification. It's a simple but powerful way to protect your account.

How it works

After you enter your password, we send a 6-digit verification code to your phone via SMS or to your authenticator app. Enter that code to complete your login. This ensures that even if someone has your password, they can't access your account without your phone.

Your verification options

Choose SMS (text message) or an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy. Authenticator apps are slightly more secure because the codes are generated locally, not sent over the network. You can set up both and choose which you prefer each time you sign in.

Code expiration and security limits

Your verification codes expire after 5 minutes. If you miss that window, request a new code. If you enter the wrong code 5 times in a row, your account locks temporarily for 30 minutes as a security measure. This prevents someone from trying to guess your code repeatedly.

Lost your phone?

If your phone is lost or stolen, contact our support team immediately. We can help you regain access to your account and set up verification on a new device.

Why this matters

Two-step verification stops most account theft instantly. Criminals steal passwords constantly, but they rarely have access to your phone. This second factor makes you nearly impossible to hack.
